Minister of Health Hakan Dinçyürek Inspects Construction Progress of Yeni Maraş Health Center

    Minister of Health Hakan Dinçyürek recently visited the construction site of the Yeni Maraş Health Center, which is progressing ahead of schedule. According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, Dinçyürek noted that the project, which began two weeks ago, was originally planned to be completed in about eight months, but with the current pace, it is expected to be finished much sooner.

    Dinçyürek emphasized that once the construction is complete, the necessary equipment will be provided swiftly to ensure the center can begin serving the local community. He highlighted the significant contributions of Prime Minister Ünal Üstel in advancing the project, and expressed his gratitude to President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, and the Turkish Embassy for their support. Dinçyürek also thanked all healthcare professionals and contractors involved in the project, encouraging them to "continue to work and provide service."

    Local Mukhtars Voice Satisfaction

    Ali Buruk, head of the Anadolu Neighborhood, expressed his satisfaction with the project, noting that the Famagusta Maraş Region, with a population nearing 20,000, has long struggled with the inadequacy of its existing health center. He thanked Minister Dinçyürek, the Turkish Embassy, and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel for their efforts.

    Rıfat Sevindik, the head of Piyale Paşa Neighborhood, praised the new health center's scale, which he said would offer improved services to the region. He also acknowledged Minister Dinçyürek’s previous investments in Maraş and expressed his gratitude for the minister's continued support.

    Former Piyale Paşa headman Veli Doğan echoed these sentiments, highlighting Minister Dinçyürek's prior contributions to the area, including a synthetic field, and noted the rapid progress of the health center's construction. He thanked everyone involved, stating that the center’s completion would bring much-needed relief to the region.

    Maraş Health Center's Responsible Nurse Hatice Şen also voiced her appreciation for the minister's efforts in bringing this important facility to the community.
