High-Level Meeting Held at TRNC Presidency to Discuss Immovable Property Commission Activities

    A high-level meeting was held today under the chairmanship of TRNC President Ersin Tatar to review and consult on the activities and effective operation of the Immovable Property Commission (TMK).

    According to information provided by the Presidency, the meeting brought together key government officials, including Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, Supreme Court President Bertan Özerdağ, and Turkey's Ambassador to Nicosia, Yasin Ekrem Serim. Also in attendance were Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, Finance Minister Özdemir Berova, Interior Minister Dursun Oğuz, Chief Prosecutor Sarper Altıncık, and several undersecretaries from various ministries and departments.

    Additionally, the meeting saw participation from Immovable Property Commission President Növber Vechi, officials from the Land Registry and Cadastre Department, the Central Bank, and legal representatives from the Presidency, Prime Ministry, Ministry of Interior, and the Turkish Embassy. Discussions focused on ensuring the effective functioning of the TMK and addressing related concerns.

    This high-level meeting reflects the continued commitment to ensuring the TMK’s efficiency as an essential institution for property matters in the region.
