The tender contract for the Famagusta Port Water Supply Project, aimed at addressing the water needs of Famagusta Port, has been officially signed. Famagusta Mayor Süleyman Uluçay and Derya Dinçkuyucu, a representative from the contractor company, participated in the signing ceremony.

Mayor Süleyman Uluçay emphasized the significance of the project, stating, "Famagusta Port is the largest port in the country. This project, which aims to meet the water needs of the service buildings at the port and the ships receiving services, is very important. I extend my gratitude to the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation, the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the Prime Ministry, and the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey for their support."

The project will ensure that water is supplied to all public, military, and commercial units at Famagusta Port by installing meters and connecting water systems. Additionally, water will be supplied to ships docked at the port. The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources will provide the water pipes for the project, which includes the installation of approximately 2,315 meters of pipe, hard ground excavations, 40 connections, and special water supply points for the ships.
