388 Drivers Reported for Traffic Offenses in Nationwide Inspections

    During a series of traffic inspections carried out across the country yesterday, police teams reported 388 drivers for various traffic violations. Additionally, 43 vehicles were banned from the roads, and two drivers were arrested, according to the Police Press Bulletin.

    In total, 1,760 vehicle drivers were checked during the inspections. Of these:

    • 167 drivers were reported for speeding above the legal limit,
    • 33 for using a mobile phone while driving,
    • 22 for operating an unlicensed vehicle,
    • 21 for driving under the influence of alcohol,
    • 3 for driving without wearing a seat belt,
    • 1 for driving without a license and insurance,
    • 1 for operating an uninsured vehicle,
    • 1 for dangerous driving,
    • 139 for other traffic offenses.

    These inspections highlight the ongoing efforts by the police to improve road safety and enforce traffic laws.
