The Famagusta Municipality has announced the temporary closure of several sports facilities in Kent Park, located within the MAGEM area in Sakarya, due to ongoing renovation works.

According to the official statement, the following facilities have been closed to public use:

• 2 Tennis Courts
• 1 Volleyball Court
• 2 Artificial Turf Pitches
• 1 Basketball Court

Enhancing Functionality and Modernization

The renovation project aims to make the sports fields more functional, allowing for multiple sports disciplines to be practiced within the same areas. The artificial turf pitches will be upgraded with modern, high-quality materials, enhancing both their durability and usability.

Additionally, the tennis courts will undergo ground improvements to ensure more efficient usage and will be reopened to the public once the upgrades are complete.

The municipality emphasized that these renovations will contribute to the development of sports infrastructure in the city, providing better facilities for athletes and sports enthusiasts.
