Eastern Mediterranean University Signs MoU with Ishenaly Arabaev Kyrgyz State University

    Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ishenaly Arabaev Kyrgyz State University to foster collaboration, strengthen relations, and encourage mutual development.

    Protocol Signing Ceremony

    The signing ceremony took place at EMU’s Rectorate, where EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç and Kyrgyz State University Rector Prof. Dr. Aigul Abdraeva Tolokovna formalized the agreement. EMU Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Osman M. Karatepe, Prof. Dr. Salih Katırcıoğlu, Prof. Dr. Sonuç Zorlu, and Prof. Dr. Ali Öztüren, along with the Kyrgyz State University delegation, were also present.

    Focus on Cooperation

    In his address, EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç highlighted the importance of the protocol in enhancing academic relations and fostering cooperation in areas such as student exchange, research, and academic collaboration. “EMU is open to all forms of cooperation with Kyrgyz State University, and I believe this agreement will bring significant progress in our joint endeavors,” said Kılıç.

    Rector Prof. Dr. Aigul Abdraeva Tolokovna expressed her happiness at being part of the collaboration and signing the agreement at EMU.

    Exchange of Gifts

    Following the signing, Prof. Dr. Kılıç presented Tolokovna with a Lefkara-style panel, a unique symbol of Cypriot culture, and a special EMU gift. In return, Tolokovna presented Kılıç with a gift representative of Kyrgyz State University, expressing her gratitude and enthusiasm for the partnership.

    The MoU marks the beginning of a promising relationship between the two universities, paving the way for academic growth and cultural exchange.
