Famagusta Municipality (GMB) Mayor Süleyman Uluçay inspected the ongoing asphalting works on Şehit İbrahim Hasan Street, a key route connecting Hurmalı Çember to City Mall, known as one of the busiest streets in the city.

In a statement issued by the municipality, Mayor Uluçay emphasized the importance of addressing the city's infrastructure issues, particularly broken roads and sidewalks. He also highlighted plans to prioritize asphalt works in the upcoming year as the municipality strengthens its financial position.

“We continue to take concrete steps to repair the broken roads and sidewalks that are one of the most important problems of our city. Our teams have been carrying out asphalting work on the route known as Hurmalı Çember – City Mall road over the past two days.”
