The Cyprus Turkish Public Officials Union (KTAMS), Cyprus Turkish Public Officials Union (KAMUSEN), Public Workers Union (KAMU-İŞ), and Equal Rights and Justice Union (HAKSEN) have announced the suspension of their strike at the Nicosia District Land Registry Office.

The strike, which began yesterday due to unresolved issues with personnel shortages, equipment, and infrastructure deficiencies, was halted as of 12:00 PM today following positive steps towards addressing these problems.

KTAMS President Güven Bengihan, speaking on behalf of the unions, confirmed that progress had been made and that the unions are hopeful for a resolution. The strike aimed to draw attention to longstanding challenges at the Land Registry Office and push for swift action to improve working conditions and services.

The unions will continue monitoring developments to ensure that commitments made are fulfilled.
