The Council of Ministers has granted permission for 350 foreign nationals to purchase real estate in accordance with the Real Estate Acquisition and Long-Term Lease (Foreigners) Law No. 52/2008. The decision was officially published in the Official Gazette.
According to the announcement, the approval applies to individuals whose names and details, as well as the specifics of the properties they intend to purchase, are included in the proposal submitted to the Council. The real estate transactions are subject to the condition that the properties being acquired through purchase or donation are free of encumbrances.
This move aligns with existing legal provisions designed to facilitate real estate acquisitions by foreign nationals under regulated conditions.
