The introductory meeting for “Eden Corners,” the first phase of a revolutionary housing project by EDEN PROJECTS CYPRUS, was held at EZİÇ Lefkoşa Restaurant. Set to redefine Geçitkale as one of the most modern cities in Europe, the project aims to preserve the region's historical charm while creating a sustainable, innovative, and livable urban environment.
Project Highlights
Eden Corners, part of a larger revitalization initiative by Turkish real estate developer Eden Projects Cyprus, will consist of 720 smart hotel-concept apartments across four high-rise blocks (14-15 floors), along with 12 commercial units. The development will be built on 16 Cyprus acres (20,145 square meters) and is expected to be delivered in phases, with the first phase ready by the end of 2026 and the entire project completed by 2029. The special starting price for Cypriots is set at 48,000 Pounds.
Future phases of Eden Projects Cyprus will expand the initiative to İskele, Güzelyurt, and Lefke, ultimately delivering 14,000 homes, commercial areas, and social spaces over the next five years. The project also includes infrastructure upgrades for roads, sewage, water, and electricity in the Geçitkale region, effectively building a new city.
Creating Opportunities for Turkish Cypriots
Speaking at the event, Eden Projects Cyprus General Coordinator Engin Altan emphasized that the project seeks to make Turkish Cypriots homeowners and attract global investors. "Our goal is to showcase Cyprus as a ‘Peace Zone’ and position Geçitkale as a center of attraction. With this project, we aim to increase Geçitkale's population from 1,253 to 15-20 thousand people," Altan stated.
Altan highlighted Eden Corners’ comprehensive scope, which includes building essential infrastructure to ensure the area becomes a fully functional, modern urban center.
A Visionary Architectural Approach
Architect Olsan Oran, a passionate advocate for Geçitkale, discussed the meticulous planning behind Eden Corners. "Every detail of the project has been carefully designed over the past three years, adhering strictly to TRNC laws and procedures. This initiative is not just a real estate venture; it represents an investment in Cyprus’s future," Oran said.
Oran expressed his commitment to ensuring the project enhances the cultural and structural landscape of Geçitkale while meeting the highest standards of architecture and urban planning.
A Catalyst for Economic Growth
Eden Projects Cyprus, a partnership between leading Turkish construction companies Serveroğlu Engineering & Construction and Fenercioğlu Yapım ve İnşaat, aims to establish itself as the largest real estate company in the TRNC. By completing 5,500 residences in five years, the company plans to foster economic growth, attract investments, and elevate Cyprus’s position as a global investment hub.
