The Cyprus Turkish Tourism and Travel Agencies Association (KITSAB) is actively participating in the World Travel Market (WTM 2024), one of the world's largest tourism fairs, held in London from November 5-7. The TRNC stand, organized by the Deputy Prime Ministry, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment, is drawing significant attention from international attendees.
KITSAB President Orhan Tolun and Vice President Oğuz Akançay are representing Northern Cyprus, holding meetings to forge new connections and enhance the country’s tourism prospects. Tolun highlighted the fair’s importance, saying, “We’re here to make agreements that will boost tourism in Northern Cyprus, especially re-establishing our UK connections.”
Vice President Akançay noted the productive discussions so far, emphasizing that Northern Cyprus’s presence at WTM increases visibility and opens doors to new partnerships. "We're working on both UK and other international connections," said Akançay, expressing hope for successful collaborations.
